Do You Offer Payment Plans?
Yes! The non-refundable retainer is due to reserve your wedding date. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding day. You can either make one payment, or split that remaining balance into equal monthly payments (which can be put on auto-pay!).
Is The Retainer Refundable?
The retainer is non-refundable as it holds your wedding date on my calendar, and I will pass on other wedding inquiries.
How soon do we need to book you?
I typically book weddings 6-12 months in advance. I do not hold wedding dates until a retainer has been paid and a contract has been signed. Once I send a contract, you have one week to sign it and pay the retainer; if that is not done after one week and I haven't been heard from you, I will open your wedding date to new inquiries.
How do you keep our images safe?
Our cameras hold two SD cards, so every photo and video we take is saved on each SD card. We also have a backup camera and lenses in the event that something would break on a main camera or lens. Once I get home, I upload all the images from the SD cards onto two different hard drives and a cloud. I do not delete any photos from either SD card until I have delivered your gallery.
Are you insured?
Yes! I have business insurance. I'm happy to provide that to your venue if they require it.
How long have you been photographing & filming weddings?
10 years!
What equipment do you use?
I (Laura) use a Canon R5 + Contax 645 for photo, and Shayne uses a Canon R5C for video. We each have a Mark IV as a body/backup camera. For lenses, I mainly use a 50mm, 85mm, and 70-200mm. Shayne mainly uses a 50mm, 28-70mm, and a 70-200mm. We also have flashes and video lights for receptions or indoor venues. Additionally, we have lots of extra batteries & SD cards at all times!
Do you have experience with different types of religious ceremonies?
Yes! We had a Catholic wedding, so we understand those masses very well! We've also done lots of Lutheran, Methodist, non-denominational, and Presbyterian weddings, as well as a temple wedding!
Can we print our images?
Yes! Your collection includes the personal rights to your images, which includes printing wherever you would like and sharing on social media! Your photo gallery is linked to a professional print and album store, which I recommend using for best quality. I also do custom album designs and ordering through a professional lab that only I can order through.
