Gretchen | A Wildflower Senior Session in Lincoln

Gretchen drove up to Lincoln from her hometown of Palmer, Nebraska, to live out her wildflower senior session dreams!

Gretchen wanted her senior photos to feel fun and carefree. So, we tapped into that energy when planning her locations and outfits. In our pre-planning Zoom, she showed me what she was thinking of wearing, and we chose three locations that paired perfectly with different outfits.

We began Gretchen’s session in the heart of downtown Lincoln on the Capitol stairs. Her first outfit choice perfectly blended classy with fun for this elegant location. Our second stop downtown showcased a historic, brick background where Gretchen changed into a more carefree outfit.

Holmes Lake was the perfect backdrop for Gretchen's third outfit, a flowy purple dress. She danced along the shore, and we found the most beautiful blooming lilies.

To end her session, we arrived at the breathtaking wildflower field just as the sun began to set. The soft hues of the flowers provided a dreamy setting, perfectly complementing her free-spirited nature. As she twirled and jumped through the field in a flowing dress, the golden-hour light highlighted her radiant energy.

Throughout the entire session, Gretchen’s enthusiasm was contagious. Whether she was laughing in the wildflower field or striking a classic pose downtown, she radiated confidence and joy. Her senior session wasn’t just about taking pictures—it was about celebrating this milestone moment in a way that felt authentic to her.

One of my favorite things about senior sessions is the opportunity to create an experience that is as unique as the senior themselves. Gretchen’s session was filled with laughter, sunshine, and unforgettable moments.
