Four years ago, I was in your shoes - newly engaged, planning a marriage, and feeling overwhelmed with options for a photographer and videographer that would tell our story authentically. Shayne (my hubby!) & I wanted someone to capture the story of our day as it unfolded, not someone who was just going to show up, take some photos, and film some video clips - our day was so much more than just some pretty pictures; it was the first chapter in the story of the rest of our lives.

Take a moment to reflect.
Maybe you want a day to focus on just you, your partner, and your love. An epic, dreamy day, just the two of you, as you celebrate your marriage. Even if you want to have a reception back at home later, your priority is first on the two of you and having the best, intimate day, full of adventure and beauty.
Maybe you want to start your day with donuts and mimosas while you get your hair and makeup done. Then you meet for a first look at sunrise. As the sun comes over the mountains, you take some time to be together, taking in the beauty of the world that God created. You then exchange handwritten vows and an officiant pronounces you husband and wife. You kiss, smile, and hug - you are married. You then take some time getting photographs in the most beautiful location as the sun warms the air. Then, you take some time to eat some breakfast pizza you packed and pop some champagne!
After that, you head to a dreamy, turquoise lake for a few more epic pictures together. As the afternoon gets warmer, you then trade your wedding gear for swimsuits and hop in the lake! When you're ready for a break, a local picnic company sets up a beautiful lakeside picnic, complete with your own mini wedding cake. You take in the afternoon at the lake swimming, paddle boarding, and going for a boat ride.
Finally, you head back to change for an incredible mountain sunset session, which means you get to put on your dress one more time - but, you're adding a flower crown this time to go with your natural waves. When the hike down after sunset is complete, a candlelight dinner for two awaits at your Air BnB. You play a record of your favorite song for your first dance, eat your favorite food, and end the night by the campfire making smores and simply enjoying time alone with your new spouse.
